Website Maintenance
No Strings Attached Website Maintenance:
I offer two types of website maintenance arrangement. The first is completely casual and just means I work as and when required. There is no formal contract. You just give me access to your website and contact me to request changes as often as you need. My availability will depend on my workload but I always priorities emergency work. Under this arrangement I charge £30 an hour and send an invoice out at the beginning of each month covering any time spent in the previous month. You may only need one or two tweaks a year, if so then I'll happily store all your details ready for whenever you get in touch.
Fixed Time Maintenance Arrangements
Some organizations requires more commitment from a developer. A common example is an online business needing support for staff, technical updates and maybe monthly web traffic reports. This situation requires either a regular slot manned each week - or a set number of flexible hours each month.
If a more formal contract like this is required then we simply agree the amount of time you would like me to be available for you each week or month. I then ensure either I, or one of my associated developers, is available for you. Contracts are agreed for a minimum of 3 months, after which they can be changed or canceled with one month's notice. I again invoice monthly for the work done in the previous month.
Time Reporting
All work done is timed on an online task manager. This allows you to see exactly how long each task has taken. I aim to be as transparent as possible so where a task looks to be taking longer than estimated we will get in touch to discuss how best to continue.
